The Champion MSMEs in the State intervention under the RAMP Programme is designed to create a pool of competitive, progressive, and high-performing MSMEs in Goa that can drive innovation, productivity, and economic growth. These Champion MSMEs are envisioned as role models and mentors for the broader MSME community, showcasing best practices in innovation, sustainability, adaptability, and business excellence. Implemented by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) , this intervention focuses on transforming selected MSMEs through structured, one-on-one handholding and targeted business acceleration support, enabling them to achieve higher growth trajectories and global competitiveness.

How it Works
Under this intervention, eligible MSMEs are identified and selected to undergo a focused transformation journey to become Champion MSMEs. The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) has empaneled two professional Business Accelerator Agencies to provide one-on-one, need-based, and structured handholding support to the selected enterprises. This support is tailored to the specific requirements of each MSME and may include business diagnostics, strategic planning, market expansion, technology adoption, operational efficiency improvement, and sustainability integration. Through continuous mentoring and performance tracking, the selected MSMEs are systematically guided to achieve higher productivity, competitiveness, and long-term growth.
