Business Facilitation Center (BFC)
The Business Facilitation Center (BFC) is a key intervention approved under RAMP Goa. The BFCs have been set up to provide handholding, advisory, and facilitation support to MSMEs in Goa. The BFCs bridge the gap between government initiatives and MSMEs by offering professional, domain-specific support through trained experts, thereby improving access to services and ease of doing business.
Two BFCs are operational at the 4th Floor of the Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) office in Panaji, Goa , which functions as Points of Single Contact for MSMEs seeking guidance on schemes, compliances, market access, finance, and business growth.

How it Works
The Business Facilitation Centers operate through teams of trained domain experts who provide need-based and personalized support to MSMEs. Each BFC is staffed with ten experts covering five core domains—technology, trade and supply chain, market and business development, finance and banking, and ESG and compliance . These experts assist MSMEs by providing guidance on Central and State Government schemes, supporting statutory compliances, registrations, and certifications, facilitating participation in e-tendering processes, exhibitions, and trade events, and assisting in grievance filing and issue resolution. The BFCs also offer relationship management and continuous handholding support to ensure sustained business growth.

They have strengthened the formalization and governance of MSME operations, enabling enterprises to operate in a more organized, compliant, and transparent manner. Enhanced access to expert support has improved the competitiveness and market participation of Goan MSMEs, while also fostering better coordination between MSMEs and government departments. The establishment of these centers has contributed to the creation of a robust support ecosystem for MSME growth under the RAMP Programme, leading to employment generation and overall economic development in Goa. By serving as an effective interface between MSMEs and the Government, the Business Facilitation Centers play a critical role in translating RAMP objectives into tangible on-ground outcomes and ensuring timely, professional, and structured support throughout the MSME business lifecycle.
