Goa State Pollution Control Board
The Goa State Pollution Control Board is the statutory authority responsible for the prevention, control, and abatement of pollution across the State of Goa. The Board monitors air, water, and noise quality, regulates industrial emissions, effluent discharge, and solid and hazardous waste management, and grants environmental consents and authorizations to industries and infrastructure projects. Through inspections, monitoring, capacity building, and public awareness initiatives, the Goa State Pollution Control Board works to balance environmental protection with sustainable industrial and economic development in the State.
