The Subsidy Towards Upgradation in Transportation through Tracking Devices under the Goa Logistics & Warehousing Policy 2023 supports logistics operators in improving transport efficiency and safety. The scheme provides financial assistance for installing GPS tracking devices on goods-carrying vehicles, helping units enhance monitoring, reduce transit delays, improve route planning, and ensure better compliance. The subsidy is available on a first-come-first-served basis and encourages digital transformation in Goa’s logistics sector.
Benefits

50% reimbursement of expenditure incurred on installation of tracking devices.

Maximum reimbursement is ₹5,000 per tracking device, per truck or carrier.

The benefit is a one-time reimbursement, and each entity is eligible once per year.

The government aims to benefit up to 1,000 trucks/carriers per financial year.

The benefit is subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions.

The benefit is subject to approval by the Incentive Review Committee and availability of budget.
Eligibility

Must be a logistics/transport operator in Goa with registered vehicles.

GPS device purchased and installed post-2023 policy.

Vehicles must be operational with completed approvals.

Expenses eligible only after policy announcement.

One claim per financial year; limited to 1,000 carriers annually.

Invoice and receipt for purchase and installation of tracking devices
Invoices and receipt for purchase of carriers
Copy of RTO registration certificate
Commercial tax payment receipt
Valid permit for operation
Copies of at least 5 e-way bills over last 6 months proving transport activity to/from Goa
How to Apply?
Open the UDP portal and navigate to schemes tab.
Select Subsidy Towards Upgradation in Transportation through Tracking Devices from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
Submit the completed form to the concerned department.
