Subsidy towards Skill Development (Logistics and Warehousing Scheme)
The Subsidy Towards Skill Development aims to support logistics and warehousing entities in upgrading the skills of their workforce through certified operational training. The scheme provides a 50% reimbursement of training costs, capped at ₹5,000 per trainee, to encourage industry-focused skill enhancement. Only accredited trainers or recognized institutes are eligible, ensuring high-quality capacity building. The benefit can be availed once per year per entity and operates on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 1,000 trainees annually. This initiative promotes a more efficient, safe, and skilled logistics ecosystem in Goa.

Eligibility

Eligible entities: Logistics/warehousing providers in Goa meeting scheme conditions; apply via Goa Online Portal.

Eligible training: Certified logistics/warehousing programs that improve operational skills.

Eligible trainees: Employees directly involved in logistics or warehousing work.

Eligible expenses: Only training fees; 50% reimbursement up to ₹5,000 per employee.

Claim conditions: After training completion, with certificate, full payment, and supporting documents.
Required Documentation
As per Application Form (FORM-VII):
CA Certified List of Trainees along with duration of training with start date and end date
CA Certified Proof of Providing Employment of trainees (Salary Statement)
CA Certified proof of payment made to trainers/institute and training material
CA Certified proof of accreditation of the trainer or the training institute
How to Apply?
Open the UDP portal and navigate to schemes tab.
Select Subsidy Towards Skill Development from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
Submit the completed form to the concerned department
