Subsidy on Electricity Duty (Logistics and Warehousing Scheme)
This subsidy aims to reduce operational costs for Cold Chain Units in Goa by reimbursing the electricity duty component on HT connections. The support strengthens cold storage infrastructure, promotes value-chain efficiency, and encourages investment in perishable logistics.
Benefits

100% reimbursement of electricity duty paid on HT electricity connections.

Maximum subsidy cap: ₹5 lakh per unit per year.

Annual reimbursement (once per year).

Covers duty paid for the last 12 months only.

Subject to valid receipts, scheme compliance, committee approval, and budget availability.
Eligibility

Eligible applicants: Cold Chain Units only.

Covers only electricity duty, not other power charges.

Excludes residential, colony, and open access power duty.

Limited to duty paid in the last 12 consecutive months.

Billing period must be after Policy 2023 notification.

Applies to new and expansion/diversification Cold Chain units meeting policy conditions.

Original copy of Power release Certificate
Electricity bills for the period
How to Apply?
Open the UDP portal and navigate to schemes tab.
Select Subsidy on Electricity Duty (Logistics and Warehousing Scheme) from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
Submit the completed form to the concerned department.
