The Subsidy Towards Upgradation in Quality under the Goa Logistics & Warehousing Policy 2023 encourages logistics and warehousing entities to adopt recognized quality standards and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS). The scheme provides financial support for certification fees, audits, documentation, and compliance processes, helping units enhance operational efficiency, service reliability, and market competitiveness. It promotes continuous improvement and alignment with national and international quality benchmarks.
Benefits

50% reimbursement of expenses for Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.

Maximum subsidy: ₹5,00,000 per entity (one-time).

Covers certification fees, audit & assessment charges, documentation, and compliance-related costs.

Excludes travel, lodging, and food-related expenses.
Eligibility

For expenses after 2023 Policy announcement.

Submit application via Goa Online Portal using ANNEXURE-VI.

Must have valid quality certification from recognized body demonstrating commitment to standards.

One-time 50% reimbursement up to ₹5 lakh per entity.

Only QMS & certification costs eligible Travel/food/lodging not covered.
Required Documentation
Issuing the certification
Invoices and Receipts of fees paid for certifications to support the claim amount
Copy of the Quality Certificate for which reimbursement has been applied
CA certificate of expenditure (in original) giving the details along with
a. Bills and vouchers and proof of payment
b. Name, Logo & Number of the Accreditation Body/Board of the organization issuing the certification
How to Apply?
Open the UDP portal and navigate to schemes tab.
Select Subsidy Towards Upgradation in Quality from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Download the application form.
