Special Incentive Allowance Scheme (Goa IT Policy Schemes)
Special Incentive Allowance Scheme" is one of the "Information Technology Policy Schemes" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. New and Existing Units would be provided with the allowance once at the end of every three year period. The scheme has been framed as a part of Goa's IT Policy that envisages Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred destination for their investment and expansion.
Benefits

Special incentive allowance provided once every 3 years.

₹50 lakh for Smaller Business Units.

₹1 crore for Other Business Units.

₹2 crore for Mega Business Units.
Eligibility

Units must operate in Goa (new or existing).

Eligible entities: Proprietorship, Private Ltd., Public Ltd., Partnership, or LLP.

Unit and partners/directors’ bank accounts must be linked with Aadhaar.

Udyog Aadhaar is required to claim benefits.

Employee count includes those on rolls for more than 12 months.

For expansion, new employees must be on rolls for at least 1 year.

All scheme criteria must be fulfilled during the policy period.

Units receiving similar incentives under other Goa Government policies are not eligible.

Copy of Incorporation certificate and unit registration certificate (From CAF)
Copies of PAN, Aadhaar and GST documents (From CAF)
Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association (From CAF)
Copy of first bill or document showing commencement of operations (From CAF)
Employee details including Goan and female employee percentage (From CAF)
Income Tax Returns for the claimed period
CA/Auditor certificate verifying reported income
Copies of employee certification documents
Copies of quality certification documents of the unit
How to Apply?
Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Special Incentive Allowance Scheme from the list of schemes.
Click on the Apply button.
You will be automatically redirected to the Goa Online Portal to submit your application.
