Salary Subsidy Scheme (Goa IT Policy Schemes)
"Salary Subsidy Scheme" is one of the "Information Technology Policy Schemes" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The objective and the scope of this scheme is to provide a Salary Subsidy to the eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. The subsidy would be provided as a matching grant to the salary paid to Fresher up to ₹10,000 per Fresher per month. All the New and Existing Units having their operations in Goa are eligible. The scheme has been framed as a part of Goa's IT Policy that envisages Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred destination for their investment and expansion.

Eligibility

Units must operate in Goa (new or existing).

Empowered Committee decides eligibility in unclear cases.

Units are evaluated annually for eligibility.

Units receiving other Goa Government incentives are not eligible.

Scheme provisions are not binding assurances from the Government.

Eligible entities: Proprietorship, Private Ltd., Public Ltd., Partnership, or LLP.

Directors’ and freshers’ bank accounts must be linked with Aadhaar.

Subsidy applies to freshers employed for at least 1 year.

Individuals with over 2 years’ experience before post-graduation are not freshers.

Less than 2 years’ prior experience may be treated as fresher (prorated).

Incorporation certificate and unit registration certificate.
PAN, Aadhaar and GST documents.
Memorandum and Articles of Association (MOA & AOA)
First bill or document showing commencement of operations
Employment proof for freshers (PF contribution or salary slip).
Aadhaar copies of freshers claimed under the subsidy
Any other relevant supporting documents.
