Quality Certificate Reimbursement Scheme (Goa IT Policy Schemes)
Launched in 2018, the "Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme" is one of the "Information Technology Policy Schemes" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The objective and the scope of this scheme is to provide Quality Certification Reimbursement to the eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. Reimbursement of the cost of industry-standard quality certification, capped at ₹ 5,00,000 per unit. The scheme has been framed as a part of Goa's IT Policy that envisages Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred destination for their investment and expansion.
Benefits

Reimbursement of expenses incurred for quality certification.

Maximum subsidy allowed is INR 5 lakh per Unit.

Subsidy can be claimed only once during policy period.

Subsidy applicable for one or multiple certifications.
Eligibility

Units must operate in Goa (new or existing).

Eligible entities: Proprietorship, Private Ltd., Public Ltd., Partnership, or LLP.

Unit and directors’ bank accounts must be linked with Aadhaar.

Udyog Aadhaar is required to claim benefits.

Incentive can be claimed only once during the policy period.

Units obtaining quality/product certifications (e.g., ISO, BIS, ZED, etc.) are eligible.

Units receiving similar incentives under other Goa Government policies are not eligible.

Scheme provisions are not binding assurances from the Government.

Copy of Incorporation Certificate and unit registration certificate
Copies of PAN, Aadhaar and GST documents
Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association (MOA & AOA)
Copy of first bill or document showing commencement of operations
Copies of quality certifications for which subsidy is claimed
Copies of bills, invoices, or payment proof for certification expenses
How to Apply?
Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Quality Certificate Reimbursement Scheme from the list of schemes.
Click on the Apply button.
You will be automatically redirected to the Goa Online Portal to submit your application.
