Lease Rental Subsidy Scheme (Goa IT Policy Schemes)
The Lease Rental Subsidy Scheme, formulated under the Goa Information Technology Policy 2018, is designed to support IT units in managing their recurring operational costs during the crucial early years of setup and expansion. Since many companies prefer to operate from leased premises rather than investing in owned infrastructure, this scheme provides a significant reimbursement on annual lease rentals, thereby easing financial pressure and promoting business viability. The subsidy is structured to reward units that generate local employment, especially for Goan professionals and women employees. By lowering the cost of establishing operations in Goa, the scheme strengthens the state’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and investment‑friendly IT ecosystem that encourages both new entrants and existing companies to grow within Goa.
