Goa Tribal Employment Generation Programme Scheme
The Goa Tribal Employment Generation Programme (GTEGP) is a welfare-oriented scheme of the Government of Goa aimed at improving the socio‑economic conditions of Scheduled Tribe communities in the State. The scheme focuses on creating sustainable employment and self‑employment opportunities for tribal beneficiaries by encouraging entrepreneurship and income‑generating activities.
Benefits

Financing: 95% of project cost (loan + subsidy); 5% applicant contribution.

Assistance: Max ₹25 lakh (manufacturing), ₹15 lakh (service/trade); subsidy = 40% of sanctioned cost.

Repayment: 60–120 months with 3–6 months moratorium (decided by TFC).

Interest: 2% p.a.; on default, loan + subsidy recoverable as land revenue.

Agencies: Implemented by DITC, EDC, and GSSTFDCL.
Eligibility

EDP requirement: Must complete EDP within 6 months if not already done.

Individual eligibility: ST member aged 18–45, studied up to 4th standard (relaxable), unemployed.

Communities covered: Gauda, Kunbi, and Velip of Goa.

Eligible activities: Micro/small manufacturing, service, and trading; excludes farming, tobacco, and red industries.
Required Documentation
Aadhaar/UID or EPIC of borrower and guarantor
PAN card of borrower and guarantor
Two recent passport-size photographs
Valid caste certificate, if applicable
Educational or school leaving certificate
Bank passbook or statement of existing accounts
Residential proof such as house tax receipt or residential certificate
How to Apply?
Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Goa Tribal Employment Generation Programme from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
Submit the completed form to the concerned department.
