The Financial Incentives for Certification and IPR Reimbursement Scheme, 2017 helps Goa’s industrial and service units improve quality and protect innovation by supporting national/international certifications and reimbursement for Intellectual Property Rights registrations.
Benefits

Certifications: 100% reimbursement up to ₹8 lakh for eligible charges only.

IPR Registration: 50% refund of professional fees, capped at ₹15 lakh.

Assistance Adjustment: Reimbursement reduced by central scheme funds; overall ceilings apply.

Budgetary Condition: Benefits subject to allocation; no funds promise if budget expires.
Eligibility

Eligible: Recognized Goa industrial units, hospitals, institutions for ISI/ISO/IPR certifications.

Statutory legal certifications ineligible for scheme reimbursement benefits.

Central scheme recipients eligible for balance reimbursement, subject to ceilings.

IT Department policy beneficiaries ineligible under this scheme.
Required Documentation
A copy of bills and receipts of the expenditure incurred
Certificate from Chartered Accountant (in original) indicating the actual expenditure incurred on obtaining Certification or IPR as the case may be
Certificate from Chartered Accountant stating that no claim from the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa has been made for any incentives
A self-attested copy of registration under Umbrella Scheme
A self-declaration in the format specified
Proof of Registration, functioning status of the unit
Documents of acquiring the IPR/ and Certification from recognized agencies

Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Financial Incentives for Certification and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Reimbursement Scheme from the list of schemes.
Click on the Apply button.
Site will be redirected to to the Goa Online Portal to submit your application.
