Employment Subsidy Scheme for Cashew Industry (ODOP – Cashew)
The Employment Subsidy Scheme for the Cashew Industry supports Goa’s cashew processing units by reimbursing wages for eligible Goan workers. It helps reduce operational costs, boost local employment, and keep the industry competitive. The scheme is valid for five years from its publication, and benefits may continue afterward if at least one claim is filed during its validity period.
Benefits

50% wage reimbursement for Goan employees, capped at 8 months' salary per employee per year.

Maximum reimbursement: ₹7,000 per employee per month, with an annual limit of ₹10.00 lakh per enterprise.

Subsidy available for five consecutive years.

Verification by DITC, with subsidy sanctioned based on Task Force Committee recommendation.
Eligibility

Micro, Small, Medium cashew processing units (Udyam registered).

Units categorized under Green or Orange category.

At least 60% Goan manpower employed regularly (min. 6 months).

Employees must receive minimum wages notified for cashew industry.

Copy of Udyam Registration
Self-declaration in prescribed format
Certified attendance registers and payroll acknowledging salaries paid
Proof of employee Goa residency as per scheme
Chartered Accountant’s certificate certifying salaries paid to Goan employees in claim year

Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Employment Subsidy Scheme for Cashew Industry scheme from the list of offline schemes.
Click on the Application Form button to download.
Enter your mobile number, email ID and district to show your interest.
Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
Submit the completed form to the department.
