Capital Subsidy Scheme (Umbrella Scheme)
The Capital Subsidy Scheme, 2017 is an initiative of the Government of Goa designed to strengthen the State’s industrial ecosystem by providing financial support to micro and small manufacturing units. Implemented under the Goa State Incentives to Encourage Investments Scheme 2017, this scheme offers capital subsidies to help new and expanding industries improve their productivity, upgrade technology, and achieve financial viability.
Benefits

Micro Units Capital Subsidy: 30% of capital cost (max ₹10 lakh total; building/office subsidy capped at ₹5 lakh)

Small Units Capital Subsidy: 30% of capital cost (max ₹20 lakh total; building/office subsidy capped at ₹10 lakh)

Structured Subsidy Disbursement: 50% post Task Force Committee recommendation; 50% after 2 years of commercial production (compliance + mandatory docs)

Budget-Linked Benefits: Tied to available budget; no promissory estoppel if benefits end due to budget exhaustion
Eligibility

Only Micro and Small Manufacturing Units are eligible.

Must belong to the white, green, or orange industry sectors.

Must start production or expand on/after 10/1/2017 (pre‑2017 allowed with CA certification for eligible purchases).

Units that have received CMRY or any other government capital subsidy are ineligible.

Units benefiting from the Goa IT Investment Policy are not eligible.

How to Apply?
Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Capital Subsidy Scheme, 2017 from the list of schemes.
Click on the Apply button.
Site will be redirected to to the Goa Online Portal to submit your application.
