Goa Khadi & Village Industries Board (GKVIB) is a statutory body constituted under Goa, Daman & Diu, Khadi & Village Industries Board Act 1965 to promote and implement various schemes for Khadi & VI sector, thereby generating sustainable employment in the State. The GKVIB started functioning from September 1982 and since then various training in Village Industries sector have been provided and loans are provided to various persons under the PMEGP Scheme on subsidies rates.
